Twitter & Facebook get mobile gains |

Facebook and Twitter access through the mobile browsers has grown by a huge number in the previous year year. About more than a quarterof smartphone users accessed these social networking websites through their mobile browser in January, which is an upgrade 8.3 points from 22.5% for one year ago. The access to Facebook through mobile browser incremented 112% for the previous year, while Twitter gained up for 347%. Social networking is one of the most popular and fastest-growing behaviors on both the PC-based Internet and the mobile Web. Social media is a natural spot for the mobile devices as these devices can better reveal the communication level of people. Mobile devices are the center for the people to make communication with circle of friends and it is done by phone, text, email or increased access for social networking websites through mobile browser. In the month of January, about 11% of the mobile users accessed the social networking websites through the mobile users, which is an increment of 4.6% points from the previous year. The growth is due to the owners of phones, which access social networking websites on the web browsers. About 6.8% of the feature phone users accessed social networking websites on the mobile phones. The access to popular social networking websites through mobile browser continues for seeing the significant growth. In January, 1 million mobile users accessed Facebook from mobile, which is about 112% increase from the past year. MySpace attracted about 11 million users and about half from that of Facebook during the previous month. Facebook users surpassed MySpace in Feb 2009, which is 3 months earlier than Facebook audience, which climbed about the internet based work for May 2009. Twitter has got growth in mobile phone and PC based visitation, which attracted about 4.7 million of mobile users in January, which is 347% up from the previous year data.
